The SS record spindle is seperate from the main spindle producing no noise to the record. Granite plinth is 3/4 inch thick resting on 38 pounds of ÒspecialÓ sound deadening media in a 3/4 inch MDF painted piano black case. The Large Outer Spindle housing is BRASS with two 1 inch HARDENED BEARINGS. The 1 inch HARDENED Spindle rotates with .0002 tolerance in this bearing on a HARDENED ball in a bath of oil on a Titanium Coated Carbite button which is counterbored in a Delrin end button which STOPS any Noise and Vibration from spindle rotation, makes for a SUPER LOW Friction Surface.
